Why Attic Remediation Matters
Your attic can affect the comfort and condition of the entire home.
Rodents and wildlife can nest in insulation, leave droppings and urine, compress the material, and create trails that reduce performance. Even without pests, settled, thin, wet, or poorly distributed insulation can leave rooms uncomfortable and allow energy to escape through the ceiling.
Removal is not always the right answer. We inspect first, document what we find, and explain the least-invasive option that responsibly solves the problem.

The sequence matters: stop active entry, isolate the work zone, remove the source, detail-clean, sanitize where appropriate, prepare the attic, then install new insulation.
Inspect and Document
We photograph conditions, measure insulation depth, identify contamination, and note ventilation, access, moisture, entry, and clearance concerns.
Build Your Options
We separate required remediation, recommended corrections, and optional comfort upgrades so the homeowner can make an informed budget decision.
Protect the Living Space
We plan the access route, install floor and wall protection, isolate the attic opening, use zipper containment as needed, and control tools, hoses, and waste.
Remove Affected Material
Bulk insulation is extracted with commercial removal equipment. Debris is contained and bagged without being carried loose through the home.
HEPA Detail and Hand-Clean
Accessible joists, top plates, duct surfaces, and framing are HEPA-vacuumed. Visible contamination is physically removed and hand-scrubbed, never dry-swept into the air.
Sanitize the Attic
When included in the scope, a label-approved sanitizer or disinfectant is applied to affected accessible surfaces. ULV fogging may follow for broad attic coverage where the selected product label permits.
Correct and Prepare
Entry points, moisture sources, air leaks, baffles, barriers, and heat-source clearances are addressed by the appropriate licensed trade before new insulation is installed.
Install, Verify, and Clean
Insulation is installed evenly to the specified depth. Rulers, final photos, label information, and a cleaned access route complete the handoff.
Dust-Free Living-Space Guarantee
Your living space should not look like an attic job happened.
Attic work creates dust by nature. Our job is to keep it in the controlled work zone, not in the hallway, bedroom, closet, or living area below.
When Pests Have Overtaken the Attic
Sanitation starts with source removal, not perfume or fog alone.
Fogging can be a valuable finishing step, but it is not a substitute for removing contaminated insulation, droppings, nesting material, and surface residue. Our process combines physical cleaning with a label-directed sanitation treatment.
Important: Active rodents or wildlife must be removed and entry points corrected before the attic is restored. Pro-Shield is insect-control insulation; it does not control rodents or wildlife.
HEPA Vacuum Systems
High-capacity equipment handles bulk insulation. HEPA-filtered detail vacuums capture fine debris from accessible structural and mechanical surfaces.
Hand Sanitation and Scrubbing
Accessible surfaces with visible contamination are cleaned by hand using controlled wet methods and the appropriate label-approved product.
ULV Fogging
Where appropriate and allowed by the selected product label, a fine ULV mist is applied throughout the accessible attic for broad coverage after physical cleaning.
Odor-Source Correction
We address contaminated material and affected surfaces first. Deodorizing is used only as a finishing measure, never as a cover-up.
